Rogers Centre

Rogers Centre, formerly known as SkyDome, is one of the most dynamic and versatile entertainment centres in the world. No other venue has the diversity of events that Rogers Centre hosts on an annual basis across over 200 event days.

Rogers Centre is the home of the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball ClubTM, World Series Champions in 1992 and 1993, and the Toronto Argonauts Football Team™ who won the Grey Cup in 1991, 1996, 1997 and 2004. From 2008 to 2012, the venue will also host a total of 8 Buffalo Bills football games (NFL).

  • The world’s first fully retractable roof opens or closes in 20 minutes
  • All videoboards in Rogers Centre are LED displays that are capable of displaying 4.3 trillion colours
  • In 1992, Rogers Centre set the World Record for the greatest number of Hot Air Balloons in an enclosed area – 46 inflated Hot Air Balloons on the field!
  • They say “milk does a body good.” Rogers Centre can hold a lot of milk for a lot of healthy people. It would take 1,56 billion litres of milk to completely fill Rogers Centre. Thirsty anyone?
